Amanda M. Taylor – Associate

Ms. Taylor is an associate of the Amsberry Law Firm, PLLC.  She practices in matters involving family law, probate and estate planning, and employment cases

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Taylor worked for Community Bible Church, one of Texas’s largest mega-churches, for more than a decade. There, among other things, she spearheaded and managed licensing and copyrights and ensured intellectual property compliance across all church platforms. This experience gave her great insight into the inner-workings and unique challenges of legal issues in a non-profit setting that are applicable to representation of any business. In her former role, she worked tirelessly on weekends and holidays to meet deadlines and goals, which has translated into embracing an all-in approach when handling client matters and making personal sacrifices necessary to achieve their litigation needs.

Ms. Taylor received her law degree in 2008 from the University of Texas, Austin, which ranks consistently at the national level as a top 20 school. Ms. Taylor also earned an undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2005 with honors. She is a Texas native, born in San Antonio to a military family which has provided her with a special context for understanding what it means to serve, the way military families support their servicemember, and how that comes into play in various legal contexts. She enjoyed living at several duty stations with her family before settling back in San Antonio, graduating from James Madison High School. Her proudest accomplishment is in raising two strong, intelligent women: Katy, a Comal County kindergarten teacher and graduate from Texas A&M and Megan, currently attending Texas A&M.

Ms. Taylor is licensed to practice law in the state of Texas.
